Critique 029: Differing opinions on the message to the public regarding alcohol consumption 16 January 2011

There has been quite a response to a Letter to the Editor  by Ponz de Leon recently published in Internal & Emergency Medicine, which is copied below.  

Divergent opinions have been expressed in two follow-up Letters to the Editor in that journal, which are also given below.  

Further, we include a number of comments on the subject by members of our International Scientific Forum on Alcohol Research.
