To support the free and open dissemination of research findings and information on alcoholism and alcohol-related problems. To encourage open access to peer-reviewed articles free for all to view.

For full versions of posted research articles readers are encouraged to email requests for "electronic reprints" (text file, PDF files, FAX copies) to the corresponding or lead author, who is highlighted in the posting.

Welcome to Scotland's Futures Forum

Welcome to the Forum's alcohol and drugs project space. The Forum is an ideal learning environment for anyone with an interest in this important issue.

We are currently looking at the question "How can Scotland reduce the damage to its population through alcohol and drugs by half by the year 2025?"

The Futures Forum is open source and all our project work, as it develops, will be available here, online. At present there are 350 members of this project community. If you would like to be an active member, ensuring up to date briefings, event invites and the chance to make your voice heard in the project, click to register.
